Smooth Scroll Down
The widget creates a scroll down button with flyout text on hover option similar to the "Go Top" arrow in the footer.
Click the left arrow to smooth scroll down to the theme break anchor or the one to the right to go to the vertical spacer anchor..
Link & Anchor
The Scroll Down Link and the corresponding Scroll Down Anchor work as a pair to allow the visitor to smooth scroll down to a point on a long page.
The link can also be paired with the Theme Break widget shown further down the page.
Enter the ID number which must be the same as the one entered into the corresponding anchor or theme break widget.
Set the arrow color and the background color and its opacity.
To add flyout on hover text, check the box and enter the required text.
Choose the font and set its size and color.
Enter the hover width and set the scroll time which is in tenths of a second.
The anchor widget appears as a 20px square.
Drag it down to the required position on the page and enter the same ID number as in the link widget.
To move the anchor out of harms way, select it and check the "Allow free dragging" box in the Metrics inspector and drag it out of the content area into the browser background.
Theme Break - Anchor Option
In HTML5 the
element creates a theme or content type break. The break can be hidden to be seen only by the search engine spiders or a visible line.
The Theme Break widget creates a horizontal line which can be styled for color height and line style.
It can double as a page anchor by adding an anchor ID.
Drag the widget on to the page, adjust its width by dragging or using the Metrics inspector. Leave it at the default height otherwise it will be difficult to select.
Set the line height, color and line style.
To use it as an anchor, check the box and enter the ID number of the anchor link.
To create a themeatic invisible break and/or anchor, set the line height to zero.
Vertical Spacer - Anchor Option
Some times there's a need to space items vertically - and quickly.
This widget creates an
element vertically center inside a container as can be seen from the screenshot above.
The
can be styled for height, color and line type or be hidden using a line height of zero.
The container would normally be transparent but can have a background color too.
To add to its versatlity, the spacer can also be created as an anchor.
Set the widget to the required width and height using the drag handles or the Metrics inspector.
The spacer can be full width if required by checking the box in the Metrics inspector.
Check the box for transparent or set a background color.
Set the line height, color and style.
To use the spacer as an anchor, check the box and add the same ID number as the corresponding anchor link.
